A Weekend Conference at Pacifica Graduate Institute
Luminaries in the field will present the integration of yoga, meditation, and depth psychology. In experiential sessions, they will share current research, philosophy and practice from their respective areas of expertise.
This conference is designed for:
- Yoga teachers and practitioners who want to deepen their current yoga practice and open space for personal growth and transformation.
- Yoga practitioners desiring to expand their knowledge of therapeutic yoga, counseling psychology, somatic psychology, and meditative practices.
- Clinicians who desire to enhance their practice, integrating yoga and depth psychology in evolutionary ways.
Participants will explore perspectives and skills in:
- Activating prana, calming anxiety and reducing stress through the exploration of therapeutic yoga, chakras and meditation.
- Yogic philosophy from ancient scriptures to present day practices.
- Healing properties of Somatic Yoga offered through the lens of Jung’s concept of the Self.
- Meeting the “sacred within” through the practice of yoga and meditation.
- Conference presenters will provide insights and wisdom from their current clinical practice and experience with somatic/therapeutic yoga, meditation, and depth psychology.
