Anytime I’m lucky enough to sit down with my girl Gabby Bernstein, I’m blown away by her authentic exuberance, integrity and spunk.
Anyone who knows Gabby, author of the NY Times Bestseller, May Cause Miracles, knows that meditation is at the core of her work. But, many people don’t know that as a child and teenager Gabby suffered from panic attacks and anxiety and found meditation one of the only tools to help calm her crazy.
As a child, Gabby experienced anxiety and feeling misunderstood by her peers. Luckily, her mom was a practicing yogini and daily meditator (taking the family to ashrams on school vacations), so the inner pursuit of peace was ingrained in Gabby’s early life. Her mom passed along the quintessential mantra “so hum,” which became Gabby’s go–to tool.
During our chat, Gabby shares her “AH–HA” moment of divine connection while meditating to calm herself from a panic attack at the age of 17.
Listen and learn how Gabby has used meditation throughout her journey to unlearn patterns of fear and prepare herself as a spiritual teacher.
Please leave a comment about an “AH–HA” moment in your life! What practices work for you to calm your mind?
xoxo,
Ashley
