Financial instability combined with an unparalleled health pandemic is drudging up an enormous amount of shadow from our collective unconscious: fear, anxiety, insecurity, anger, frustration and self-beat.
In the yoga practice, we think of the Self holistically as 5 different layers (koshas):
For most of us, our Mental-Emotional body has kicked into hyper-drive as we face challenges on multiple fronts simultaneously.
Our emotions are valid and relevant. We want to honor our vulnerability and nurture ourselves through challenging times.
However, emotions are also irrational, slippery and seductive. They can easily pull us into the undertow and override our clear-seeing wisdom mind – inadvertently pushing us off center.
If we don’t learn to express and clear our emotions – we risk:
Emotions are “energy in motion”.
Wisdom teaches us that we can actually USE the energy of our emotions productively.
Your greatest superpower is learning to transmute difficult emotions into a passion and purpose that can propel you forward into right action.
